TRADING STANDARDS SERVICE

Who are we?

The Trading Standards Service is provided by your local council, Rutland County Council.

What do we do?

Rutland Trading Standards Service provides guidance on a wide range of issues to both consumers and businesses regarding their rights and obligations when buying or selling goods or services. If you have a complaint about the price, quality or safety of goods or services, we want to hear from you. By enforcing these laws we can help protect you against unfair trading practices.

Who do we help?

Rutland Trading Standards offers assistance,and arbitration where necessary, to consumers and traders who are in the area covered by Rutland County Council.

Rutland Trading Standards Service is based at Bridge House, Town Bridge, Peterborough, PE1 1HU.

Rutland County Council provides the Enviromental ealth and Licensing Service.

Rutland Enviromental Health helps Rutland residents when they have consumer problems relating to enviromental health or licensing matters.
